 The Berlin Zoo was the best zoo I have ever been to! It was massive and had so many animals! And most of the cages were well done, with decent space and habitat.

There were so many baby animals! They were sooooo adorable! This baby deer/gazelle was the first of many. Baby birds, monkeys, pigs, etc

 Polar bears! I could have watched them all day! The only weird thing was the one above, we decided it is a "special" bear-maybe it has gone insane? Anyway, it was on a repeat of back and forth and then would wave its head up and down, every time we passed this exhibit, the poor guy was still stuck doing that!

 Guess what bird this is! A kookaburra! You know, like in the song! This one was beautiful!

 If you have to play "I spy" in this picture, I did too in person. There were a bunch of birds in this cage and I spotted these two owls that blended in so well no one noticed them!

Nesting birdie =)

Awwwwww! This was the cutest thing! The Daddy bird got some straw/branches from the bushes below and then brought them up to his wifey and is handing her them. Then she proceeds to tuck the pieces in while he goes and gets more straw. It was so special to be able to watch this intimate little birdie moment!

 Flamingos!

 These two flamingos were really aggressive! They came out of their little hole with a snotty, proud look like kings, made obnoxious honking and then ran really fast at all us visitors with their arms out. It was somewhere between cool, funny, and scary haha

These were really fun to watch-this one's expression is so intense! I wonder what it was thinking: "I see you" or maybe "I'm going to eat you"

Wolves! They were really fun to watch. They ran around playing and chasing each other, it was clear who were the pack leaders, social interactions, it was pretty awesome!

Jackles! I don't think I have ever seen these at a zoo and look at the cage. At first I thought the railing was all that was dividing me and these wild dogs, but I was happy to see the little electric fence, but still it's not much of a fence.

U.S. Embassy! My foot is on U.S. territory- a little comfort and reminder of home =)

Why is everything so much cooler in Europe than in the U.S.?? Even the Dunkin Doughnuts are awesome! Granted it was Easter morning, but check out the options on the menu-there's so many and so many yummy options!

These were so yummy! We woke up early and went to church at 8am, so these were my Easter basket lol

After church, we wandered this street, took pics, window shopped, and hugged Mr. Berlin Bear before going to the zoo
