Everyone's Sick

Everyone is really sick. Not only are all us GLS students sick, but it seems that all of Cyprus is sick. Apparently it is because of the unusual weather we have been experiencing. IT has been raining, windy, gorgeous, hot during the day and then freezing at night, and it seems to stir up viruses. Everyone has a fever, aches all over, throbbing headache, some people have thrown up. Mark's fever was consitently around 102* for 48 hours, when it reached 103.3* today, myself and our coordinators insisted we go to the hospital to make sure all was okay. And they confirmed it is a viral infection, so there wasn't really anything to do but continue resting. However, Mark and I are starting to feel better so are planning a trip to Limassol tomorrow. I'm not sure how many days we will be there, but I'm not bringing my laptop, so stay tuned for pictures and stories when I get back. Till then, keep your chin up and keep smiling =)
